once I got approved, I call in I got voice mail only, before someone always talked to me... also I asked to negotiate the attorney fee..

they worked on my case for 4 1/2 months, I did all the paperwork with social security, they did not have to do much they would cost 6,000 dollars.

I did my application over the phone with social security, then filed with this company...and social security went with my phone application... so I will file with social security to negotiate my fee...I would have settled for a 5000.00 dollars...but with them not doing any court or settlement on my behalf, seems like a ripoff....over 1,200 a month for doing WHAT....

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Myler Disability Pros: Before i can approved they would talk to me.

Myler Disability Cons: Once approved voice mail only.

We have tried calling this client 3 times over the last week to discuss his concerns with him, but have had to leave messages each time. As his case was just approved earlier this month, we're doing what we can to discuss with him what happens at this point with his claim. We're sorry to hear he has had problems contacting our office. We're equally frustrated that we haven't been able to get ahold of him when we call back.

Apparently he is also concerned because of the fee our office received for the legal services we rendered. I am happy to discuss this further with him, as I've explained in a voice message. The fee agreement he signed with our office is the standard fee agreement approved by Social Security. It is a contingent fee based on the amount of past due benefits a client is awarded. Simply put, it allows for 25% of the past due benefits, or a maximum of $6,000 (whichever of the 2 amounts is less) to be paid to the legal representative. Before the fee is released, it is reviewed by Social Security. If the case is not approved, the legal representative does not get paid. If it is approved, whether it be after 4 months or 4 years, the fee structure is the same.

If this client would like to discuss this further, he's welcome to give us a call! We're happy to discuss this in greater detail with him.
