These people are very unsympathetic. I can't work due to epilepsy and they tell me my bf makes too much before taxes.

Felt like I was talking to Social security. They don't want to help you. Obviously they don't want to get paid either. Don't even know why they have a phone number. After denying me and being rude I got two more call backs from two different people.

They're too lazy to let each other know who they already talked to, and are not helpful what so ever.

Very cold and rude during consultation. If they call me one more time I'm gonna lose my *** and go off on the phone.

Myler Disability Reply:
If your household assets and income are too high, we can't help you with an SSI claim. We aren't trying to be rude, but rather are just attempting to explain to you what the law in on SSI claims. As far as calling you multiple times, chances are the calls were from another disability company. Many clients enter their info on multiple websites. We can't control who else calls you. We can assure you, though, once we have talked to you and determine we can't help you with a claim, we'll never call you again.

Some of these online companies delay to increase their fees.

I would find a different lawyer like quick. I had the worst experience with them.

They fought for nothing. I won my case the second appeal but it wasn't due to them. And they didn't fight for what I wanted. I thought I was fighting for my ssdi and all along they were fighting for SSI which means SSI denied me my monthly income because my husband makes to much money.

And fourth thousand dollars turned into 200.00 dollars back pay.

Run please they r not out to help the clients. Sincerely sad in California.

Anonymous,

We're glad that your claim was approved, but we're concerned with your complaints and would love the opportunity to address these with you. There are procedural reasons your SSDI claim was denied and we'd love to have the opportunity to explain these to you.

Also, be aware that if your back pay was only $200, we were only paid a few dollars for helping you with your claim. Please call us to discuss this in more detail.

I won my case, but now I can't get my back pay.

I'm very happy with the way Myler Disability handled my case. I won.

It was easy. The lawyer they sent from New York was excellent. But now I can get my back pay only in 6 month installments of no more than $2,100.00. After years of being homeless and living on the streets , I'd like to use my back pay " wisely". Buy a used truck and a zero turn mower so I can do something to supplement the $733 dollars a month to live on.

I don't know what to do. Myler Disability got all of their money (except for 28 dollars) that they are hounding me about.

Myler Disability Reply:
We're glad that your case was approved and we appreciate your kind words about your lawyer. He's one of our best! In regards to how quickly Social Security released your back pay, please be aware that this is controlled by statute and while it's inconvenient, it's one of the requirements on SSI claims. Regarding the $28 that you mentioned, this was for medical records that one of your doctor's offices sent us. They charged us $28 for the records and, per our agreement with you, we forwarded to you this expense. Because it has been so long, though, I'm willing to waive it. We wish you the best in all that is ahead.

My lawyer Lindsey Robison was one of the rudest people I have ever met. Made me wonder who's side she was on.

Had to contact a supervisor at least twice to get a return call. Do not recommend these people.

Myler Disability Reply:
We're sad to hear that you did not like the attorney that represented you at your hearing and that you feel your calls weren't as timely returned as you would like. We are happy, however, that your claim was approved and that we were able to help you in this disability process. While you were unhappy with your attorney and her candidness, please be aware that she was just trying to get you prepared to testify at your hearing. Rest assured, though, that she was on your side and was trying to help you in this process. Thwy are a joke of a company and after recieving a leyter that they no longer represent me i cant get ahold of the by phone.i believe they are a scam company that only fight cases they can win big money in.

Myler Disability Reply:
We attempted to help this client with his disability claim, but ended up needing to withdraw as his representatives once we got updated medical records from his doctor. These records, in our mind, made it seem clear that there was not sufficient evidence for him to be approved for benefits. While he is upset that we withdrew from his claim, this does not mean we are a less-than-reputable company. Rather, it shows that we do not believe it is right for a disability company to continue representing someone when the evidence suggests there is not a valid claim. If this individual would still like to discuss his claim, he can call us at 1-800-652-9626.

Myler Disability - Supervisor Review from Pleasant Grove, Utah

I use to work here...... TERRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK FOR!!!

My supervisor was a total ***! He was a micromanager who was only I. It for himself. He picke a assistant who had only worked there a few months an had screwed up two cases so bad, it caused them to be dismissed.

He would never tell people ba news, he would make team leads tell the employees if they were in probation or if they would not get a bonus. He is a small man who needs to get other himself.

If you ever work for Myler Disability, do NOT go to RTS! It will RUIN you life!!

Hi, I don't know if you can answer this question. I hired Mylar Disability about a year ago.

I asked My doctor to send my records to them. They did a receive an invoice. I then called about this but was told that they do not need my records until it is almost time for my appeal.

Should they not request my records as there is a lot of information in them that would help my case. I have been seeing these doctors since 2004.

Please write back to me regarding this.

Thank you

Myler Disability - Disability Claim Review from Bellevue, Washington

Horrible after 3 years of dealing with them I still lost my case then they inform me that they no longer want to represent me. They stated they see no reason to continue if that was the case why take my case to begin with...

Myler Disability Reply:
It's unfortunate when a claim is denied, but in each of these cases there is a winner and a loser. If the judge believes that the person is unable to work on a full-time, sustained basis, benefits are approved. However, if the judge feels the person would be able to do other types of work, benefits are denied. Often we are able to appeal an unfavorable decision, but a number of things must be looked at before making that decision. Among these things are the quality of the medical records, any supportive statements or narratives from the client's doctors, and the client's presentation and credibility at the hearing. While I cannot mention the specifics of this case online, due to client confidentiality, there were very strong reasons we felt we could not continue representing her. This upset her and she continued to call and harass our office staff for some time. We wish her the best going forward, but there is nothing more we can do for her at this time.

Myler Disability - Disability Claim Review from Raeford, North Carolina

What a joke...

I went before a judge one October 17th 2014 ,after waiting 3yrs.

Got my denial letters on December 12th 2014 I called them to. Because they give u 60 days to over turn this decision they told me they didn't want to continue to work with me because they really didn't see any point to it. If that was the case why take my case in the first place I never meet my so called lawyer until the day of my hearing in October. So I rush to find another lawyer that would take my case I find one I quickly call back because they need some papers stating that they have resigned as my lawyers I ask them considering the time is so short if they can FAX everything to the new lawyer they say No. That's not my problem we will mail it to you & you then can take it from there.. I wait for the letter I receive a letter but it's the wrong one I then HA e room call them back & ask being as confused as can be if they can mail me the correct letter or if they were going to represent me. They say no they were not going to represent me that they will mail the correct letter out.

As I was speaking to them I say that I have even more proof of my disability if this will help because I Really didn't want to start over with a new lawyer after 3yrs again they tell me no because we don't see any reason on representing you.

After the fact.

They was so nasty to speak to.

They showed how much they cared for there people's...

Horrible.. will never work with them again or suggest to anyone about them.

What a joke!

What exactly happened....NOTHING! This is the worst firm I have ever dealt with.

Disabilities are not always visible and my assigned representative (so called attorney) pretty much told me after I lost my case that he didn't really notice anything wrong with me....maybe he needs x-ray glasses or live in my shoes. I seen him one time for maybe 30 minutes and that was at my hearing. When I got my denial papers from SSA/SSD there were doctors statements on there that I have never seen or heard of and they made a decision on my medical problems in 2012 and I just went to court in November 2014 and the judge used their decision over my doctors report. That's 2yrs....plenty of time for someone to tell me about the mystery doctors.

There are way to many inconsistent statements made in my denial letter to list on here. But I'm not giving up! Got a new attorney...a local one and pray they can sypher out all the mistakes Myler made. And the sad thing is I stayed with them for over 3yrs.

They have no clue what they are doing. Oh and the attorney that was assigned to my case lives in the same town as I do so you would think we would of had a meeting in the 3yrs I waited.

Myler Disability Reply:
We wish this person would have voiced his/her concerns to us and given us the opportunity to address each one. It appears here that this person was denied benefits and he/she is upset because of this. We try hard to help all of our clients receive a favorable outcome, but the reality is that some cases won't be approved because the judges aren't going to believe that every single person that comes before them is unable to work. Here, this client would have been aware of every single page of evidence in his/her file, so there were definitely not any “mystery doctors.” It is extremely unlikely that any “mistakes” were made on this case. Rather, it's much more likely that the medical evidence wasn't quite as strong as the judge would have wanted it to be and the client's testimony didn't quite match up with the objective evidence and therefore benefits were denied. Had this client come to us with his/her concerns, we would have been able to discuss the options for an appeal and also likely resolved each and every concern. We'd encourage our clients to call us to discuss matters like this. We can be reached at 1-800-652-9626.

I think they are doing the same thing to me ,but I have another disability and it is that I have grandma seizours and mental problems. I've been seen by neurologists for my seizours and for my mental problems I've been seen by mentalists and none of the information from either saying I've been there doesn't even help and making it to my appointments, keeping records of going to the hospital because I had a seizour and having other important information isn't good enough then I need someone who can help me get my disability after waiting for 4 years just to get denied twice I need help from people who'll keep helping me no matter what.
